肠道是人体的胃肠系统，而肠道微生物组是生活在那里的微生物群落。它包括多种类型的细菌，以及其他一些有机体。现有的文献表明：肠道微生物组可以影响健康的各个方面。于是我想进一步了解肠道细菌产生的化学物质是如何影响CRC细胞生长的。
哮喘是一种身体呼吸道的慢性疾病，马和人都可能患有这种疾病。哮喘发作时，气道会发炎和变窄。我便很担心如果一匹马在外出骑马时出现严重哮喘，会发生什么。于是我们对现有的治疗马类哮喘发作的不同方法进行了研究，包括注射和带口罩的喷雾器等等。
几年前，我在艺术课上了解到黄金比例。如果两个数字有黄金比率，那么两个数字之和除以较大的数字等于较大的数字除以较小的数字。黄金比例在自然界中也有体现。例如，有多少朵花从上一朵花长出约137.5度的新花瓣。我想知道这个概念是否有助于平衡计算机内存的使用，进行了这个研究。
